Inspection Types
XpressInspect supports two distinct inspection workflows. Understanding which type applies to your assignment is the first step before you begin.
Side-by-Side Comparison
Inspection
Uses a structured, pre-defined checklist (e.g. ASME A17.1) organized by section. The inspector works through each item selecting OK / NG / NA, signs off on results, and submits the final report.
- Checklist-driven workflow with tabbed sections
- Pre-defined items per equipment type
- OK / NG / NA response per checklist item
- Best for US-style compliance inspections
- 9-step process from project creation to report download
Audit
A structured field inspection with formal meeting stages, on-site risk clearance, and client sign-off. Includes an Opening Meeting, safety clearance, equipment-based findings, a Closing Meeting, and customer feedback.
- Meeting-driven workflow with formal stages
- On-site risk assessment & safety clearance
- Equipment/unit-based checkpoint findings
- Client attendance and signatures required
- 9-step process with customer feedback
