The Inspection Queue lists every inspection currently assigned to you. It is accessible from the Dashboard and from the Queue link in the top navigation bar.

Queue Columns

  • Inspection ID — Unique identifier for the assignment.
  • Property Address — Location of the inspection.
  • Inspection Type — e.g., Annual, Move-In, Move-Out, Special.
  • Due Date — The date by which the report must be submitted.
  • Status — Current status badge (Assigned, In Progress, Submitted, Returned, Approved).
  • Actions — Open, View, or Download links depending on status.

Filtering and Sorting

Use the filter bar above the queue table to narrow results by:

  • Status (e.g., show only "Returned" items that need your attention)
  • Due date range
  • Inspection type

Click any column header to sort the table ascending or descending by that field.

Opening an Inspection

Click Open in the Actions column (or click the Inspection ID) to begin or resume an inspection. This takes you to the inspection detail page where you work through each step.

Only one inspector can have an inspection open at a time. If another user has it open, you will see a lock icon. Contact your administrator if you believe the lock is stale.

Overdue Inspections

Inspections past their due date are highlighted in amber. Reach out to your administrator if you need a deadline extension before submitting.
