The Review screen gives you a full preview of the report exactly as the administrator and tenant will see it. Take time to read through it carefully before submitting.

Validation Checks

Before you can submit, the platform runs automatic validation. Common errors flagged include:

  • Required checklist items left unanswered
  • Fail items with no notes entered
  • Fail items with no photos attached
  • Violation items with no code selected
  • Missing inspector attestation on the Notes screen

Each error is listed with a direct link to jump back and resolve it. Fix all errors before the Submit Report button becomes active.

Previewing the Report

Scroll through the full report preview. You can also click Download Preview PDF to review it as the final document will appear. This is optional but recommended for complex inspections.

Once submitted, you cannot edit the report unless the administrator returns it for revisions. Review carefully before clicking Submit.

Submitting

Click Submit Report and confirm the dialog prompt. The inspection status changes to Submitted and the report is sent to the administrator queue for review. You will receive a confirmation email.

After submitting, your report is read-only. Track its progress from the Inspection Queue — it will show Submitted, Returned, or Approved as the administrator acts on it.
