Step 2: Pre-Inspection Setup
Confirm access, record arrival details, and prepare before walking through the property.
The Pre-Inspection Setup screen captures the administrative details that bookend your inspection — arrival time, who granted access, and any site conditions noted on arrival.
Fields to Complete
- Arrival date & time — Auto-populated when you clicked Begin Inspection; confirm or adjust if needed.
- Access granted by — Name and role of the person who provided entry (e.g., property manager, tenant, building super).
- Persons present — List anyone who accompanied you during the inspection.
- Site conditions on arrival — Brief note on overall condition (e.g., "Property appeared well-maintained," "Evidence of recent water damage in lobby").
- Weather conditions — Relevant for exterior inspections.
All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required before you can proceed to Step 3.

Click Save & Continue to save the setup details and proceed to the inspection checklist. You can return to this screen at any time before submission to update arrival details.
